Inclusive Reading Club: Understanding the "T" in LGBTQIA+: Creating a Culture of Acceptance (hybrid event) Online

Join us in exploring the stories and experiences of transgender people on college campuses from the perspective of students, staff, and faculty. Dr. Kaitlin Gabriele-Black, Assistant Professor of Psychology, will be facilitating our discussion of readings selected from the book Trans People in Higher Education, edited by Genny Beemyn. Dr. Gabriele-Black's research focuses on the intersections of sexuality, gender and faith, specifically around evangelical Christianity.

You’ll find the readings and a place to share your thoughts on the IRC's online bulletin board https://padlet.com/salvelibrarian/irc

This is a "hybrid" event, meaning you can join us in person or online, via Zoom. We'll be meeting on the second floor of McKillop Library. If you are unable to join us in person, register here and we'll send you a Zoom linkIn-person attendees do not need to register.

The IRC is managed collaboratively by the Office of Multicultural Programs and Retention and McKillop Library. For more information, Rose Albert (she, her, hers), Associate Director of the Office of Multicultural Programs, or Gretchen Sotomayor (she, her, hers), Special Programs and Instruction Librarian.
