Turning the Page: Salve Artists Respond to Martin del Rio's 17th Century Investigations into Magic
Salve Regina Studio Art majors spent a semester researching and developing work in response to a 17th-century treatise on witchcraft, magic, and demonology by Jesuit priest, Martín del Río. Disquisitionum Magicarum (Investigations into Magic) is a rare book held in McKillop Library's Special Collections. At this opening of the exhibition of their work, hear students discuss their artworks, view their finished pieces, and learn the decisions of the Exhibition's Guest Juror Jeff Foye, who also serves as Exhibitions Preparator at the Jamestown Art Center.
